The game play loop is enjoyable, even if some of the units are a bit unbalanced. The maps and the gunplay really make the game enjoyable with the variety and landscape making each match visually pleasing when you notice small details such as the little cars or the giant boat on one map.

I really only have two gripes with the game, both of which involve the servers. The first of which is the fact the game does frequently crash and there is no option currently to rejoin a game should it happen. This either forces you to wait while the match finishes or I am guessing get marked as a leaver. The second is how many games start down a player forcing you to requeue, but this is a double edged sword as even being one player down makes a huge difference in most games so it ending early does help.

If they can fix the servers, or you can get around the crashes I would recommend it as a good time sink for just how refreshing it is.

HOWEVER expect some bugs that will penalize you for them breaking the game, suck as one where Guntank prevents you from respawning resulting in you getting a timer preventing play.

Let me start off with, yes the game is fun and hopefully they fix the issues.

However there is a whole slew of issues to go into with this game.
First, is the battle-pass and the challenges associated with it. To keep it simple if you get a challenge to queue for a mode, there is no way to get that mode atm.

This leads into the second issue, you are stuck playing in matches until you hopefully get it due to the fact you can not leave the games casual modes without getting a penalty. If you leave a match for any reason, accidental or on purpose you start to accrue strikes till you are banned. As a bonus the ban shows no timer, so even if you lose power or connection you have no way of knowing when you are unbanned.

Third is the customization, if you were a fan of the customization options in MCC such as the color system then this is not for you. This whole game screams predatory methods to get you to buy parts and colors by giving you nothing unless you pay for the upgraded pass. This game is not going to be friendly on your wallet at all.

Again, the game is fun, but it is a real shame they seem to not care for the player at all.

To install Denuvo Anti-Cheat which runs at the kernal level post launch in a major update is a shady tactic. At a point where people have already bought the game and are past the refund point, I can no longer recommend this game to anyone at all. Hopefully they get smart and remove it, but even then the damage is done.

To summarize, spend your money elsewhere.

While there is the occasional syncing issue, I can not praise this game enough for being everything that I hoped for. Ship battles, boarding parties, ground battles, and all of them massive with 64 players/bots, there is some polish needed and a few odd things here and there (such as floating grass), but honestly this is everything that they market it as. The graphics are dated, but that does not subtract at all from the game, and considering how long ago this project was started I am fine with this. ( I have not tried commander mode so I can not comment on it)

Pros:
Massive battles up to 64 players
-Ship battles are hectic and fun
-The atmosphere on the mother ship before battle, from the armory, to the mess hall
-The battles feel huge, even with AI, I was very fond of watching the auto lock missiles follow the target, and being able to shoot them down

Cons:
-Syncing issues when trying to shoot some enemies
-AI can sometimes be a bit stupid
-Personal con, hard to get a vehicle sometimes

Overall this is everything I hoped the EA Battlefront should have been, and I hope this game gets noticed because it puts AAA games to shame.

Look, it is just fun, what else can I say? Makes me remember the times when i first played 'A Link to the Past' and any of the SNES Final Fantasy, and those were darn good times...

I do this not because I hate the game, because I do enjoy it, but because of what Bethesda did to the comunity of which the said was first. With the lackluster support off the Beth.net, and the numorous hate posts modders who make mods recieve and the praise that the people who steal them get who post them on the joke of a site that Beth runs get, the killed the comunity from the inside.

I do this as a warning to those considering buying it, if you buy it in the coming months, do not expect the mod support it had at launch, the trailer saying they love mods and the comunity is a lie. While I enjoy the heck outta this game, I can not in my right mind say you should buy it when the company supports theft, and doesnt moderate their forums from death threats and people posting the authors real name and info on it.

They Do Not Care About The Comunity
