The Power Factory

The Power Factory is a game where you build a power factory and later in the game multiple power factories. Be smart when designing you map or things will go wrong rather quickly, so think before acting!

Alpha 0.3.0 is out

Changelog:
- New background music, credits to by Eric Matyas at www.soundimage.org
- Solar Panels another part of the green technology line. These can be put next to each other like the windmills, screenshot below as an example
- Options panel where you can change volume and UI scale still WIP
- Fixed Linux build, should now work again
- Other general fixes

Alpha 0.2.7 is now out

Changelog:

Rewamped tutorial system, Should be clearer and more up to date
Categorized buildings based on their research level
New building, Windmill, this building is similar to the power station. It generates the same amount of power but can be placed right next to another building and does not require cooling. The graphics for this building is still work in progress
More bug fixes

This is a small update, I thought it important to update the tutorial to with the new controls introduced in the last few updates. Soon there will be a bigger content update containing more buildings and research

Alpha 0.2.6 is now out, this update is mostly bug fixes.

Changelog:

Fixed a bug where sometimes some buildings would stop producing cells
Fixed a bug that caused the game to resume when hitting the ESC when the game was already paused
Fixed so the V hotkey will switch gamemode successfully
The placement overlay will stay red if you do not have enough money to build a building
Fixed more bugs in the rail merger, there might still be some problems left

Here's another question...

Where are the Rails? They don't appear in the "Standard" folder and don't have any texture assinged to them in the Tiles file... Also, it's pretty lonely in this here discussions section :l

Nice concept. The acceleration/deceleration when moving the map around is nauseating and annoying. "You can zoom in and out by holding ctrl and use the scroll wheel" - you don't have to hold ctrl. "In the bottom left corner you can see a button called

Help with development

Hiyah! I found this game in my library again and it sucks to see that no development has happened in the last few years. If you're still thinking about working on this, I'd love to help you out with development and content! :) If you've abandoned this, that's also completely fine, let me know something as well so I know you saw this (since I have no idea if you get a notification from this)! I am a developer, and love games like Factorio so I'd love to expand this game to reach its potential :)...
