Yes, then you get a trophy Showcase that you can put them all in at your cabin, or a fishtank.

i just was curious because every other fish i caught had trophy marker in book, but that one had not, so spent some time catching them

It's ok if not all the fish have a trophy size, but it would be nice if you could know they don't, maybe an icon of a trophy in gray with a red cross on top so we can know in advance. (I've been fishing Threadfin Shad for hours trying to get a trophy size, wondering if it was a bug and came here to find out).

We've fixed that for release. Every species will have trophy weight now!

Will there be a living display/tank?

Yeah, every fish should have a 'trophy' size to know it's among the biggest recorded. Actual fishermen will understand why that's important, we're always trying to catch the biggest of anything, even if it's a massive minnow we're impressed and will take pictures. =p
