If you are having the issue I and many others have had when picking up the ravager. It may look like the game ♥♥♥♥ its self, but it is still running. You can you press tilde key (~) to show console to un-fu ck it. The new weapon tip window is broken and invisible. If it does not work right away press it a couple of times and maby throw some tab button presses in there and should be good to go. Completed NM and UN with this bug being an issue every time.

Yes the avatar head on the screen still moves and the e and the other key still works, without the weapon window up telling you about the gun ect.

Do you know if they are going to patch it, or if it's had a ticket for them to.😊?

I found a work around on YouTube to disable tutorials, well for that bit to get around it.But not tried it yet and hope it works, but thanks for your help my friend.😊

Oh, they know about it. Time to fix, still unclear. I try to catch every Slayers Club live stream with Hugo Martin and Josh whats his face the community manager. From the previous 3 streams they will spend 15-20 minutes talking about whats new, current issues and future changes before Hugo jumps into his playthrough. Chat brought it up and it was quickly passed over as "Should be in next patch", nope, but I am sure it will be fixed whenever Hugo gets to this point.

I have reported it to bethesda.net/help. this was a while ago before I completed my NM run. I was not too pleased to find out it was still a issue on my UN run. Many, MANY people have lost a UN run by force closing the game thinking it crashed.

That's not good they are not prioritising this bug, as it's a major game breaker to be honest.
But really hoping the next patch addresses this.
But will try turning off tutorials first for that bit and hope.
How different is the ravager to the other gun? as they look the same.😊

I wholeheartedly agree. This is a serious game breaking bug that should have popped up in quality control. It really does look like the game completely sh!ts the bed when picking up the ravager, but looking more into it at the time did not show a lot of players experiencing this exact issue. It was not until the next day I found a forum post with only one reply stating to try pressing the tilde key for the console or tab a few times to get pass the broken weapon tip because the game is still running.

The only reason I do not think they are rushing a fix as quick as they are is because they see it as low priority bug/glitch. Not enough players reporting /help and It's "Simple/Easy" of pressing tilde/tab until they achieve a proper patch.

As for the Ravager its is a great crowed controller, but the second variant you unlock a bit further down the campaign is what I use the most and is one of the first weapons I upgrade. They do look the same. Wide fire spread vs Narrow/Grouped spread with more damage.

Some hints:
-Steam GUI /Library/Doom:The Dark Ages/Properties/Installed Files/Verify >this game files are installed correctly----Verify Integrity of game files.

-Go to: Windows/System/Display/Graphics/Default Settings---Change default graphic settings ---Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling to ON

-Download latest gpu driver from AMD or Nvidia, (or intel for the new PCIe ARC gpus). First use DDU to Properly fully uninstall the current GPU driver. Make a note of the old driver if possible if it is the culprit.

-If the motherboard has onboard integrated graphics it might need to be disabled if running an external GPU.
