Awesome. Yesterday after restarting my ROG Ally to apply an update (even though the settings said I was up-to-date somehow), the out of box wizard came up and my whole drive was wiped. Nothing important was lost because of cloud saving, but still annoying. Great to see a fix.

On the desktop, press Ctrl+Alt+T to open the terminal, then type the following commands one by one:
sudo steamos-readonly disable
sudo pacman-key --init
sudo pacman-key --populate
sudo pacman-key --populate holo
sudo pacman -Syyu

When prompted, type:
y

Then continue with:
sudo steamos-readonly enable
reboot

A feature I am indeed looking forward to, when the 3.7 versions become viable. This last "stable" release most certainly isn't. At least rolling back to 3.6 wasn't difficult.

still having WIFI issues if i don't go into Developer mode and screw with settings, Please Fix, this is seriously annoying!!!!!!!

Having trouble trying to install steam OS on pc, I can boot into the client, but once I click the option Install it opens a prompt that it will clear drive I press OK, terminal is also opened then text stating “stopping in 5 seconds if this is a mistake”. It doesn’t boot into the steam installation at all. I have waited 10 minutes or so I get nothing. Help anyone?
