My Augustus “Cole Train” Cole DLC is not showing.
I have the DLC ticked via the Gears Tactics properties tab in my library.
On the Manage My DLC tab its also ticked and says installed.

When I started the game up there is no popups about the DLC...
I'm on Act 1 - Chapter 5 (you get Cole on/after Chapter 4).

I have tried reinstalling the game, and verifying the game files....still no popup or anything.

If anyone could help me out with this issue I would really appreciate it.

Me too. I have pre-ordered the game. I'm on Act 1 - Chapter 5 but Cole doesn't appear.

I sent sent a support ticket to support@gearstactics.zendesk.com via their website yesterday. It may take a while to get a reply from them given the current covid situation. But soon as I get a reply I'll post it here.

This per-order DLC issues seems to be limited to the Steam version of Gears, as the Microsoft store version works as intended. It's almost like Steam just shows that DLC is installed but doesn't download any of the files...If I untick then tick the DLC nothing happens (no download or file alterations).

I also tried removing the all the Gears files+Saves (1184050 folder) from my steam folder after uninstalling a reinstalling...still no change.

Yeah mine never showed up either.

I suppose this problem is much more wider then you assuming, but many people do not ticking it. I have the same problem and thoroughly monitoring this forum tread ))

I just wanted to give a heads up since it's been a week:
I'm still waiting for a response to my support ticket....As I mentioned last week (post #2), I'll post response here, I've not forgot.

Same issue here, i've opened a ticket... they said that i'll get a reply in 14 business days...
