So, new update and tons of bugs
-Random Ping spikes for no reason. I checked my connection, my pc, updated drivers, etc but for 2 days had terrible ping and bad connections no matter what I did.
-Severe rubber banding all over the boat during combat
-Megs can no longer be interrupted mid-bite by a cannonball? (If this was intended and I missed that tidbit please let me know)
-Get done with killing a meg for it to take forever to even register that we completed the voyage let alone for the loot to spawn
-BEFORE SPAWNING LOOT FOR COMPLETED VOYAGE have a skelly-sloop AND FRESH MEG SPAWN TOGETHER like WTH

1) That's been a thing for years now, it's virtually a "feature".
2) See above.
3) You need more than one cannonball.
4) Megs have always been dramatic when they die.
5) That's called bad luck (or good luck, depending on whether you want free loot or not).

I get the feeling you haven't played in a few years.

1. Never had this issue before.
2. See above.
3. I have 500 canons.
4. Dramatic yes, but at least spawn the damn loot
5. Kinda figured, just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about it cause BS

Played last season, didn't have any of these issues ever. Even got Legend without being blown up on High Seas (a feat for me since it took me years, I admit). A lot of the issues I'm facing I've never had, and the RNG spawn was just BS that made me mad.

The meg having at minimum 10 cannons phase through it with no hit marker and the connection issues are my main gripes.
first 2 issues you mentioned i been having it too connection issues since the update, megs are bit broken too

What I mean is you need to hit it in the face with more than one cannonball to make it cancel the bite. Which has always been a thing.

Ah, beloved hitreg. Also a problem for years.
Consider switching on "server authoritative hit markers" in the game's settings. Even when poor hitreg screws you over, at least you'll know when a hit was or wasn't acknowledged by the server.
